October 22, 2025 will go down as a historic date for Swiss artistic gymnastics. Noe Seifert, the athlete from Aargau, claimed the bronze medal in the all-around competition at the World Championships in Jakarta, bringing Switzerland back to the podium after 75 years.
With a total score of 82.831, Seifert finished third behind Japan’s Daiki Hashimoto (gold) and China’s Boheng Zhang (silver). His performance was outstanding across all six apparatuses, with a brilliant routine on pommel horse and a strong finish on high bar, which secured his spot on the podium.
This achievement is more than just a medal: it’s a powerful signal for Swiss gymnastics. After his eighth-place finish at the 2023 World Championships in Antwerp, Noe has proven he belongs to the world elite. Alongside him, Florian Langenegger also impressed, finishing tenth – his best result ever.
Seifert’s success is the result of discipline, resilience, and passion, as well as the support of coaches, his club, and family. With this medal, Switzerland shines again in a sport that demands precision, strength, and courage.
Congratulations, Noe! You’ve written an unforgettable chapter in Swiss sports history.
